Geoff Merrill Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 750ml

Approx.14 months after vintage, Geoff and Scott undergo a blind tasting to select the finest barrels from the Coonawarra and McLaren Vale vineyards that make the grade for the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.

Aroma: Lingering aromas of oak and cigars. Take some time to enjoy the rewards of barrel and bottle age.

Palate: The palate though springs to life with bright acidity, ripe berry fruits, roasted capsicum and a hint of menthol. The tannins are evident, smooth and refined like high end dark chocolate.

Food Pairing: Give it time in the glass over the length of a meal. Enjoy with dry aged rib eye, beef goulash, braised beef short ribs, grilled portobello mushrooms, roast lamb with rosemary and finish with an aged cheddar or blue cheese.
