One of the most unique Speysiders to be found. It begins life as a classic 100% Barley malt that is aged in for a full 14 years in ex-bourbon barrels. It is then transferred into Caribbean rum casks for a final polish. What makes it special though is that these aren't just any casks. Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE has a proprietary blend of rums that he has developed only to season the virgin barrels to the proper taste. The result is an exceptionally smooth Strathspey scotch with a light warm-honey flavour and fruity overtones.
