An exceptional one-off expression, a true star of the Rare Cask Reserves collection, as it is not just rare - it is unrepeatable. Brian Kinsman, William Grant and Sons Master Blender, chose malts from two 'Ghosted distilleries' – distilleries long-since closed or 'silent', namely Ladyburn (1963-1975) and Inverleven (1938-1991) - and married both whiskies in hand-picked oak casks. He then allowed time to take its course, enabling the flavours to meld and mellow.
