Amrut Indian Single Malt Whisky 700ml

Amrut Distillery, located in Bangalore, India is situated at an elevation of 3000 ft. The barley and water used in production are sourced from the states of Punjab and Rajasthan. The high ambient temperatures accelerate the maturation process and increase Angels' Share (annual evaporation) to 11-12%, compared to the 2% of Scotland. Most Amrut whiskies are 6 years old or younger yet still have seen remarkable success in awards. Amrut Distillery adheres to a philosophy of consistently surpassing customer expectations to maintain their standing and continually break into new markets. This expression is crafted from whisky matured in both ex-sherry (10%) and ex-bourbon barrels (90%).
