Benriach Sherry Wood 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

The newly packaged Benriach is now a three-way sherry matured whisky (full sherry plus oloroso and PX finishing). It's also bottled at a higher strength than its earlier incarnation and comes non chill filtered.

[2007 bottling] Bright gold. Slightly more restrained than the entry level bottling, and with pear and sweet spices emphasised. Semi sweet, fruity entry; Quite peppery to finish with vanillan oak featured in the aftertaste. Excellent length.
