It was super heavy, so transport costs were prohibitive and it was also considered too costly to convert the molasses into feed for livestock. Bundaberg Rum Extra Smooth Red Rum is a 37% ABV Triple-Filtered Rum, that possesses distinct character driven by the use of red gum charcoal in the filtering process. Delighting the senses with aromas and flavors of caramel, honey, and brown sugar, Extra Smooth Red flows velvet-smooth across the palate for a beautiful, warm finish.
