In pursuit of creating a sweeter and more vividly fruity Balvenie, Apprentice Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie imported Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky, which were expertly toasted by The Balvenie Cooperage. The resulting whisky boasts a sophisticated complexity, with hints of candied fruit, coconut, and subtle vanilla.
